I am a very, very obsessive person. Here's some more about my "fandoms" or things I love most:
My biggest obsession is Scotland. It goes beyond obsession. It is a huge part of my life. I often relate to it in conversation. It is a deep love for me. I do not deal well with people who insult it. Or who claim to love it more than me. I will talk about it a lot.
Along with Scotland goes Mary Queen of Scots. I love a few historical figures beyond what one should reasonably love somebody who is dead, however, she is my absolute favourite beyond all others. You'll learn this. Moving on.
I love the American Revolution. A lot. Alotalotalot. I'll talk about people like John Adams and John Dickinson and Edward Rutledge in ways you've never seen before. I love the musical 1776 and obsess about it a lot. My favourite is John Dickinson. Yes, he is a dick. That is why I love him. He is a self-described cool, cool, considerate man.
Thirdly, photography. I've worked hard over the last few years to become a professional photographer, and it is my favourite past time. My second favourite past time is theatre. I write and direct plays which is my favourite, but I do love acting as well. I spend more time in my local theatre than I do in my home. I am going to NYU to be a dramatic writer, though whether playwrighting or screenwriting, we have yet to see.
I love Celtic mythology. I am very proud of my Celtic descent, mostly the Scottish side, but I embrace the Irish as well. I am a great appreciator of all things old, antique, beautiful and dark. My plan for life is to buy a Scottish castle in the Highlands, furnish it in 16th to 19th century furniture, and be a general recluse.
I also love films. I spend more time on IMDb than any other website. I love reading about films, watching them, critiquing thing. I talk about films a lot.
I love to travel. I have another goal to travel to the following places: the south of France, Wales, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Spain, Italy, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Antarctica, Argentina, Brazil, and Iceland. So far, I have been to England, France, Scotland, and Ireland. If possible, I want to live in Northern England, London, Scotland and Paris during my life.

If you want to friend me, keep a few things in mind. I am a person of excessives. I'm an angry person. I'm a happy person. I'm a person who is very random. I will post constantly about my obsessions. I do not like drama. If you bring drama into my journal, either in the form of comments on constant whining on your friends page about how your life is over because your boyfriend doesn't love you enough and your parents don't love you, then you won't be kept long. I'm also rather anti-religious, so if you take offence from me going, "Oh my god I cannot stand religion" from time to time, we probably won't get along. I don't care if you post about your religion. I'll respect that, so respect me. I enjoy people who are funny, engaging, witty, and have things in common with me. |
